Eva Queen

EvaQueen’s songs have been described as a poetic diary set to music, lyrically rich and full of attitude. Her style is an eclectic blend of soul pop with strong jazz and blues undertones.
The forthcoming album focuses on escapism, a need to be understood and dreams of love and belonging, peppered with quirky observations, general annoyances and downright impertinence and sass!
She has been compared to the likes of Cat Power, with a voice described as soulful and lusty. Signed to Reekus Records, EvaQueen has recorded several tracks that have already received airplay on national radio, and her debut album will be available later this year. Since her recent emergence on the Irish music scene she has played a number of Ireland’s leading music venues, including the Cork Jazz Festival.
