Beef Supreme were formed in 2008 with Jimmy “The Riddle” O’Rourke and Niall ‘The Moves’ O’Connor. As a two piece acoustic the rhythm had to come from the words and the music from the mouth … along with the words. After a few months of support gigs, and back alley shoot outs, the pair drafted Seamus ‘Slammer’ Kelly and Shane ‘Fingers’ Glover on Drum and Bass. This boosted the sound and brought with it a whole new set list. It wasn’t long before Shane ‘the sink’ O’Rourke was hauled in to complete the front line and since then Beef Supreme have reigned supreme in 2009. The sound is described as ‘Trash Can Folkabilly Rock’ and ‘Workin mans music’ . All we know is people love to dance drink and buy our music. As long as they keep it up. . . we will too.
