SKITTLES
Four Score and Seventy Years Ago – our forefathers would assemble in the heart of our fair town to partake in an ancient tradition handed down to them by men of old, in the spirit camaraderie, revelry and gambling.
In many ways, skittles, for it is skittles of which we speak, built this town. It made men of boys, women of girls, and teenagers of our senior citizens. And skittles, ladies and gentlemen, is back.
We are celebrating this resurrection with an all out Skit-Fest on June 12th in the Market Square – after dinner but before tea.
