This year we hope to build on the success of last year’s festival. We are going to provide Abbeyfestivalers with an eclectic mix of foot tapping festival tunes. There will be a wide range of musical tastes catered for over the three day event. We will be announcing acts in the coming weeks and, we will also have a few very special surprises in store on the weekend.

Abbeyfest aims to be a musical education for the discerning musical enthusiasts. We have plans afoot to cater for wide ranging tastes such as rock, blues, trad,  jazz, soul, singer song classical choral,  electronic, reggae, ska……you’ll be pleasantly surprised. How to get involved

Simply fill in our registration form and let us know what you can bring to the festival. We have a number of different venues across the town which can cater for a wide range of musical genres. We welcome established musical acts and smaller acts who have yet to stamp their mark on the Irish music scene; we welcome musicians from All Tastes and Genres.
